These are Harlequin ducks, they are a small sea duck. My expert lady bird friend told me they can be found close to boats or docks because they feed off growths in those areas. Based on her knowledge I finally found these ducks just before sunset. I quickly threw on my 400 mm lens, and chased them from one dock to another and then back again. I should have had a tripod but I had very little light left so I just hoped for the best. My photo's are not that good but I can prove that I saw them. These 3 males were following a single female.

Had another good day today, caught two beautiful Coho salmon and lost another one. Out of all the fishermen I was the only one to catch fish.

Your friend was right about these ducks, they do hang around boats, and I see them each time I go to the docks in Boston. Nice capture Jerry.
